BetterHome Gmail Automation

Overview

BetterHome is an automation application that allows users to securely connect their Google account to enable email-based workflows.

The purpose of this app is to provide controlled access to Gmail so users can automate reading and sending emails through approved workflows.

What the app does

This application:

  • Authenticates users using Google Sign-In (OAuth)

  • Requests permission to access Gmail data

  • Allows reading emails when explicitly authorized by the user

  • Allows sending emails when explicitly authorized by the user

  • Uses n8n automation workflows to process and route email actions

Google data access

This app may request access to:

  • Gmail account email address (for authentication)

  • Gmail read access (to read email content when needed)

  • Gmail send access (to send emails on behalf of the user, if enabled)

We only access the minimum data required for the automation features requested by the user.

Data usage

Your data is used only to:

  • Authenticate your Google account

  • Execute email automation workflows you have configured

  • Provide integration between Gmail and other services through n8n

We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.

Data storage

  • Access tokens may be stored securely to maintain authentication

  • Email content is processed only as needed for automation tasks

  • Data is not publicly shared
